December's inspiration board

SNOW

It's 1st of December and there's no snow yet in Helsinki.
I mean this is Scandinavia and it haven't snowed yet, so I'm
slowly getting worried. I don't like the cold, but I would love
to have "White Christmas", because Christmas feeling is complete
when it's snowing outside :)

SHOPPING FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

One of my favorite things to do every December is to go
shopping for Christmas presents for people that I love.
The best part is when I'm shopping for my 3 year old daughter's
present :) Let the hunt for Christmas presents begin :)

GINGERBREAD HOUSE

I love to eat some gingerbread cookies every December. I still
haven't try to bake them myself, but I will find a good recipe and try to
bake some on my own. I did buy a gingerbread house which I'll "build" and
decorate with my daughter in couple of days.

GLÖGI

One perfect, warm drink that goes perfectly with gingerbread cookies
is definitely Glögi. It's usually served warm with some raisins and almonds.

CHRISTMAS MOVIES MARATHON

I love watching Christmas movies throughout December.
Some of those movies I've seen like billion times, but they always feel
so fresh and fun to watch after a year of break :)

CHRISTMAS

My favorite holiday and the best time of the year is Christmas.
I can't believe that it's been almost a year since we have celebrated
Christmas last time. I love to have that "Christmas feeling" because
I always feel so joyful in December and everything is so nice no matter
where I am/ go, since streets, homes, shopping malls, restaurants are
filled with Christmas decorations, trees, songs, etc.
One of things I like to do is send Christmas cards to my family members,
relatives, friends...

CHRISTMAS TREE AND PRESENTS

I LOOOOVE to decorate our Christmas tree and put up some
nice decorations all over the apartment. I just bought about 5-6 new
Christmas decorations for our this year's tree and can't wait to show
them to you here! I still have to shop for some more Christmas lights,
but pretty much everything's ready for the Christmas time :)

Also, I can not wait to see which presents I'll get and if any of things
from my wish list will pop up when I unwrap the presents :))))

CHRISTMAS TABLE AND FOOD

I'm a complete hedonist and I think that second name for
December should be Hedonist month or something :P
I love to decorate the Christmas table, but even more I love to
cook and bake some beautiful meals which I'll eat later on with
my family.
So far I haven't try to make turkey or Christmas ham yet, but
I'll get there. Thankfully, I do have some great Christmas recipes
in my sleeve, so we'll do just fine until I get some practice in
baking turkey :D
