Outfit post - Change your life

Hello Monday!! 

I love waking up to sun rays every single day! We've been so 

blessed with beautiful and sunny days in Helsinki. I know I've 

said this before, but this is such a rare thing in my city/ country that 

I need to be thankful out loud (every time I write a blog post) :D 

How was your weekend? Did you do something fun or went more 

low key? 

I've been walking all over the city for hours, just breathing in the fresh 

air, meeting friends for coffee and loving life. 

I'm finally back on track after super hard May and June, being lost in 

July and trying to figure things out but August kicked off on the right 

note. I can hardly wrap my head around the though that in 2 months 

from now I'll be on the way to New York!!! 

Can't wait to live there for a bit... Of course the main thing is my 

course on the Film Academy, but living in The Apple comes together with 

it :D

I'm just a young girl with dreams larger than life trying to make my way through 

in this crazy, but beautiful world and if I can inspire somebody with my journey 

then it's a huge reward for me and this blog, as well as my photography.

Outfit post - Hot in the city

Woah! It's been really hot in Helsinki lately! I can't
believe that we've been blessed with such an amazing weather :)
I've been just staying outside as much as possible. I mean, who could
stay inside after a long and dark Winter? I was SO waiting for the
Summer so I'm now embracing it fully :)

Usually, throughout a year I find myself being "stuck" in my skinny jeans
and no matter how many times I swear to myself that I'll be more feminine
and get my dresses/ skirts out, it's just so damn cold that jeans are the only
thing I reach for in the closet.
I don't even have to mention how happy I've been to wear all of my nice
Summer dresses, skirts, flow-y pants/ overalls when going out to run my
errands, meet with friends, just walk around the city.

I hope that this kind of weather will stay for at least 2 more weeks as I have
a short road trip planned for the next weekend and until then, I want to just
soak up the sun rays, eat tons of ice cream and just be happy :)

Outfit post - Grecian lover

Good Tuesday morning everybody!
I got up very early this morning to take my brother to
the airport. I'm so sad that he had to leave back home, I had
such a wonderful 10 days with him here in Helsinki, showing
him around the city and going places, just having a quality
brother - sister time. Hopefully, he'll visit me again for Christmas
so we can catch up some more and make some new memories :)

I have a meeting with my PR soon, so I'll jump in the shower and
get ready for that, but before I do that, I want to share an outfit
with you which is very dear to me and I feel like "me" in it.
Ever since I saw this dress at Shopbop earlier this Summer I knew
I needed to order it. This dress screams "Natali" :)

Like I've already mentioned in my previous posts, we've been having
an amazing weather in past 10 days, so I got to wear a lot of my summertime
clothes which I was patiently waiting to capture with my camera and
show them in my blog, so stay tuned for more outfit posts like this one!

Outfit post - Kimonotizing

I didn't even turn around and BAM! it's already a weekend
and it's been a week since I've returned from my holidays.
Well, they have kinda continued here in Helsinki too because the
weather is absolutely amazing and my brother is here so we've been
doing a lot of sightseeing and restaurant "testing", not to even mention
the amount of ice cream and sweets we've indulged in :)
Yep, it's still holidays for me!

We have a nice plan of what we'll do today so I better start getting
ready and all that as we want to get the maximum out of every day.

Here's an outfit which I wore 2-3 days ago and this kimono was an
extra garment since it was so hot that I didn't get any use of it, but
I wanted to present it to you. I've always been into kimonos and esp.
during the Summer, they're so light and easy to just "throw over"
a simple outfit and make it look very boho and stylish :)

Outfit post - Dallas boy

Hello my dear readers! 

Seems like evenings are now more "reliable" time for me 

to update my blog. I'm very happy that we have amazing summer 

weather in Helsinki and that it will continue to be like this for at least 

few more days.

Every day, for 4 days in the row, I've been just walking all over the city 

with my brother and showing him around all the beauty which I forget 

about living my usual, daily life. 

We have lots of fun stuff planned to do in the following days, so check

In this outfit, I'm presenting you my newest bag and if you ask me, I would 

be fine having just this one bag because it's so perfect and unique that I can't 

even believe that it's mine. I got it in London a month ago and it was a must 

have item for me. It's part of Chanel's limited Dallas collection and it looks 

like a piece of art ( which it is ).

Outfit post - Changes

Did you ever felt like there's a change going on or you could 

"smell" the change coming but you just couldn't pin point what 

the change was!? That's how I feel right now, I feel that there's 

a whole new life awaiting for me ( less than 3 months away ) and 

at the same time I'm scared to leave the "safe" zone that I know so 

well, but that safe zone just doesn't feel like a place I should stay 

at or belong to. Crazy complicated, right!? :D 

You know that feeling when everything looks the same but nothing 

is and you're pretty much sure that it never will be...

Onto the more lighter themes - I've had great weekend and today was 

nothing less than a perfect summer day! 

My brother is visiting us, so it's been fun going places and exploring 

my own city with him. We still have a week on us to go everywhere 

and it makes me feel like I'm not done with my holidays yet :) 

This is an outfit which I wore yesterday and I felt very confident while 

wearing it.

Sometimes, we all deserve a break...

Hello my dear readers!
I'm sorry for lack of posts and updates, but except from no internet
connection or barely being online, I have decided that I needed a break
from everything and that I have deserved one.
Every post before my holidays, I have been just counting days until my
holidays to recharge my batteries and it took me a few days to realise that
I need to take a break from everything, not just photography, but also blogging
and that world doesn't really care if I'm not posting 3,5,7 times a week as long
as I do keep on writing at some point :)

I did had great holidays and I'm now back home but I feel that they were too short
and am already looking at the new flight tickets for August.
Sometimes, we all deserve a break and we are the only ones who can "force" ourselves
to take a break.
Break is good... Break makes you stop for a moment, take a step back and look at your
life and future plans from a whole another point of view.
I feel that I need more of that... I feel that before holidays, I was very confused for
months and while planning the future, I was also very scared at the same time and
didn't know how to cope with everything that's coming, esp. now in Fall with our
mini move to NYC and New York Film Academy.
Now, that I did take a break and have just enjoyed my holidays, I do have a whole
different "picture" in my head and feel more confident in my plans, believes, etc.

Sometimes, we need somebody to tell us to slow down, because not always when
we slow down means that we're "loosing" something or going backwards...
Sometimes, that's exactly what we need to go forward.

So, starting tomorrow, I'm back to my usual posting, but I feel that I have now much
more fresh mindset and this way I can also make my blog look and feel fresh too :)

I'm also at some point throughout this Summer going to change the layout completely
and am very excited to see this little space develop to a new level.
