Photo diary

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope that you had great weekend, filled with lots of fun and
great company. I have put up the Christmas tree and all the decorations
at home on Saturday and yesterday, as I've already mentioned in my previous
post, I had pizza party with my sister and her bf. It's always great to get together
with them.

I've been having hectic two months and I don't think that I will get to slow
down anytime before New Year's Eve.
Today was no exception, so I've decided to put up an Instagram post to just
stop for a moment, look back through a week/ two ago and see how many little but
important details I've captured from my daily life.
Those little snapshots are like a diary to me and I get to appreciate my daily
life more, as they show me that in all of this chaos I still should remember to
enjoy the smallest of pleasures :)

How in the world did the Friday already come?
Can you believe that in ONLY 12 days it's Christmas!?
I'm so excited about it, it's my favourite time of the year and I love
every little thing about it. I have bought all of the presents and most
of them are already wrapped. I'm planning on putting up the Christmas
tree this weekend, so that the Christmas feeling will be complete :)

The dress that I'm wearing today is by Free People which I have ordered
for my latest photo shoot and I think that I will keep it for myself and
wear it next summer. I can't wait to wear it with sandals and without
any jackets.
For now, I have decided to wear it in a little bit retro-ish way.
I hope that you like it :)

I'm looking forward to the weekend, short trip to Turku city tomorrow and
pizza "party" with my sister and her bf on Sunday.

Hello Wednesday and hello everyone!
Today is the first day that I've been feeling a little bit healthier.
I decided to have breakfast at my favourite cafe downtown with
my sister. After that we went for a mini Christmas tree shopping with
her and a "must" stop at Zara. I got myself new necklace and I like it
a lot. I will show it in one of the next outfit posts.

After that, the day pretty much got super hectic and as I'm writing now
it's already evening, I have just finished my Skype call regarding
my soon coming photography website and am pretty much ready to
go to bed. Tired is something I feel like tattooing on my forehead, that's
how I've been feeling most of the time for the past month :P

Tomorrow should be easier day to handle though, so I'll make sure
to relax and enjoy more, because every minute of our lives is so precious
and we can never get them back, so...

Gypsy soul, heartbroken

Good Monday everyone!

My body is aching and I have caught a big cold with high fever,
but I'm feeling very happy because 2 days ago I did a photo shoot
which turned out beautifully.
I have now couple of ready photos and also couple of "behind the scene"
ones which I would like to share with you.

We've been shooting on a secret location ( not so secret to locals I guess )
in Helsinki and even though it was so cold and I froze my fingers so much
that at some point I was barely able to snap any photos, everything worked
out perfectly and I'm so pleased with the outcome.

The model was so beautiful and was able to deliver the role that I have imagined
for her to play. My team of assistants and make up artist have delivered on every
level as well, so I can just say that I'm very blessed to have them :)

Outfit post - Rainy Friday

Good Friday afternoon guys.
I've been feeling a bit down today, so the rainy weather didn't
contribute to getting my mood up, but once I got to the favourite
Nepalese restaurant downtown for lunch with my sister and her bf,
I have started to feel much better.
Nepalese cuisine is one of my favourite treats and I never left the
restaurant disappointed.
If you ever visit Helsinki and love exotic food, definitely check out
Satkar restaurant.

I'm getting ready to have a business Skype call, we're still working on
my website, but due to me having so much to do/ going on every single
day, it's going slower than what it could, but oh well... We'll get there eventually :)

I don't talk much about my personal life on this blog, just bits and pieces
and usually I write about simple, lifestyle things or such but now I have something
I would like to ask you guys to do for me... I believe in a flow of positive energy,
in sending good vibrations to people around you and I do believe that it can make
a great change, so I would like you to direct some good energy towards my mom
which is undergoing a surgery next week. All of the good wishes are more than
welcome.

Outfit post - Antigona

It's only Tuesday and I'm already counting days until the weekend.
I have a photo shoot planned for then and I can't wait to shoot some
new material and later on edit it. I'm so excited! :)

Yesterday was a lovely day. I went for coffee and walk downtown,
did some business related stuff and in the afternoon I went ice-skating with my
sister and her bf. We had lots of fun and it felt great to ice skate after having a long
break of 2 years.

Yesterday was also a bag shopping day. I've been wanting a new bag for a while,
so finally yesterday I went ahead and got this perfect Antigona (medium) with
dark metallic zipper and details. I had "hard" times deciding between this bag,
Celine's trapeze and lagguage, but Antigona won because it was the only piece
that arrived to whole Finland and also because it looks much more durable and
has harder leather versus Celine's super soft and easy to scratch leather.
Maybe next year I might go with Celine, since I've been very happy with my
previous Celine purchases.

I'm now off to finally clean my flat which by now looks like a pig hole :P

1st of December + Instagram diary

Happy 1st of December everyone!!
I've had one of the best weekends and I'm so happy right now.
Yesterday, my sister and her bf were over for lunch at my place
and today we went to great restaurant Tori in downtown for lunch and
our bellies ended up being full of delicious food. I can see that the rest of
December will be pretty much like this: food, great company, Christmas
lights, ornaments and spirit everywhere you go :)

I just can't wait to put up the Christmas tree which I usually do around 6th
of December which is also a Finnish Independence day.

It's gotten SO cold ( and it's still going to get colder ) in Helsinki, so it
feels good to end this weekend by sitting on sofa, drinking mulled wine
and finally catching up with new (old) episodes of Grey's Anatomy.
