Christmas Eve!!

Happy Christmas Eve everyone!! I'm celebrating this
evening and tomorrow's Christmas Day with my man,
daughter and my man's parents.
Here, in Finland it's usual to start celebrating already
this afternoon and open the presents and then continue
whole day tomorrow (except opening the presents).
I used to do it differently in Croatia, so I will open my presents
tomorrow morning :)

iPhone diary

Hello everyone! I would like to thank everyone who's been
visiting my blog, reading it, commenting on it and or has decided
to follow me. Thank you, thank you, thank you, it means a lot to me!
What's the point in doing anything if there's none who can recognize
how good is what you have to offer, right? I'm glad that I have what
it takes to make people be interested in my blog :)

Here's mini iPhone diary, which is just an overture into next 2 days
which are my favorite days in December and that's Christmas Eve
and Christmas Day :) I'll keep you posted about them, since I'm planning
to take a LOT of photos!!
I can't wait to spend it with my little family and my parents in law and
open all the nice presents :)

Happy today :)

I've been getting ideas for my new collection of photographs
for my next exhibition and so far I have 6 ideas out of which
3 ideas are completely clear ( have all details figured out for the set ).
I just got the 6th one yesterday night when I went to bed and somehow
I couldn't fall asleep anymore, so I ended up falling asleep at 3:30 am
and waking up at 9:30 which wasn't enough of beauty sleep for me,
so I went jogging this morning right after breakfast and got tons of
fresh air and ran for 30 minutes for 3 km and came home completely
energized and full of sudden happiness :D

Other than this exciting competition, I've been just taking it easy
at home and running small errands.
I made quiche this morning and it was yummy!!
It's a spinach, ricotta cheese and simmered mushrooms in white
wine sauce quiche :) I still have to do some Christmas
gifts shopping tomorrow and then I'm done with that part of my
errands :)

IWhat inspires me...

Blue velvet

When I was thinking about this post's title, I wanted to name
it something blue and it turned out to be Blue velvet, because
the first thing that came to my mind was David Lynch's movie
of the same title. Have you seen that movie?
I think that it's crazy, sick and also magnificent at the same time.

Anyway... I've sent all of Christmas cards away and right now
my man is putting up our Christmas tree which we'll decorate
together. We also have a dear friend coming over to visit us
today, so it will be a nice evening filled with Christmas-y
feeling :)
