Balmain + Rick Owens PFW, Fall 2012

So remember how Balmain had very structured,
tight to the body leather jackets and blazers?
Well, now that Olivier is in charge, those same pieces
got a whole new meaning being oversized!!
He still kept on having the skinny jeans/ pants and
lots of patterns and embroidery, but the oversized
blazers/ jackets were so well received!

RICK OWENS

One of my favorite designers is definitely Rick Owens!
Wonderful collection, very dark, artsy and made only
in the way that Owens knows.
He said that this collection was influenced by "brutalism"
and M.Dietrich which is easy to see in his designs for Fall/ Winter.
Once again I'm in love with leather cropped jackets with
oversized shearling collars.

Today's look!

Happy 2nd of March everyone! That's 3 months until
Summer or what I consider the beginning of Summer :D
I'm very tired of Winter already and can't wait for all
the snow to melt away and be able to go back to my
regular jogging mornings in the forest and by the
beach.

I went for a short shopping trip this morning and got
the most beautiful blazer ever from Zara. Can't wait to
show it to you in my next outfit post.
For now enjoy in the pastel colors and Spring vibe of
my today's outfit :)

Even tho it started as quite minimalistic black & white
collection it ended with some nice blue and red colors and
patterns. Perfectly casual and sophisticated collection for Fall/ Winter.
My favorite piece is the red dress!

DRIES VAN NOTEN

Lots od patterns/ prints, colors, fur, silk,
embroidery... Even tho DVN isn't my favorite
designer name, I find this collection to be very
interesting and creative.
